    Default Cube mounts

I looked at some combiner cube mounts and they just seem to be flat - are you supposed to use superglue to attach the cube?

If I made a dichro shaped disc of aluminium and superglued the cube to that, could I use a regular dichro mount?

well a cube is a cube and it is flat (on all sides) They so little all you need is a very small dab of epoxy on each corner of a flat surface and they will stick just fine.

you can see how I mount it here:

Don't use a cyanoacrylate based glue. The vapors they give off can ruin your optics.

Seconded! Never use cyanoacrylate glue (so-called "super glue") around optics.

Most 2-part epoxy will work just fine, and it won't out-gas. I prefer JB-Quick myself.
