A AOTF crystal is the same as a PCAOM. This one is cut for one to two microns which might just be close enough to visible to work in the red-yellow-green region. Dont shoot me if you get it and it doesnt have enough range or is missing partz etc. Its a single channel driver, and you'd need to reprogram the synthesizer or change the vco constants. You can bet the AR coatings would be lossy in the vis, but not that lossy. You may be running on a not so hot second order of the virtual grating. The manual I found with google says its a TEO2 AOTF, this is the same material as a normal 400-700 nm pcaom.

Ie not for beginners. Ie for someone with some RF and Programming skills.

But for a total roll of the dice the price is not bad

So if yout got 100$ to blow, which I dont, give it a shot.

if there weren't such import taxes, I'd grab it! I have always been tempted by such things but fearing to pay too much for nothing, I always buy smaller unusable things or lots and finally have nothing to play with
