The Newport Model 75 Damped Rod with Rack is made of steel with a matte chrome finish. It has a nylon rack along one side to allow the use of a gear mounted on a Newport 375 or other Rod Clamp to precisely raise or lower components. 1.5" diameter X 14" tall. The Models 45 and 75 are Newport's most sophisticated rods available and are used for critical applications where accoustic and vibratory influences are of concern. These mount to your optical table or breadboard with 4 bolts through the base flange on tables with a standard 1 inch hole pattern.
