Hey guys, the boards are in, I've assembled the first one and it works just fine. I want to do a few tests on it and a couple more, should just be another day or two and they'll be available.
Whatcha think? They look ok?!
Hey, I thought I replied to this until I looked again... I'll take a driver board if there is one extra. I have a GM20 that needs to be used.

Looks nice and compact....let me know how much for a couple of boards and the parts....I have the GM-20's on hand ready to install.

I'll snag a board if'n you got an extra
I should have plenty of boards, it's the gm-20 "kits" I wont have enough of. In fact, I've already contacted the first couple folks that requested them in the thread and they all still wanted one. So I'm sorry to say the GM-20 Kits are all gone, but the bare boards for your GM-20's I should have plenty of. In fact, this board will be able to drive other types of shutters as well. More on that later.
Looks good, DZ!!

DZ,
Looks like another one of your high quality products to help out the people at PL
Keep up the great work. Looking forward to getting a board to add in my system.

Thanks Stuka and LJK!
I've done some testing and so far so good. One test I ran was to attach 5 shutters to a 50 foot ILDA cable to the QM2K unbuffered and all 5 actuated just fine. Tonight I'll try all 5 down 100 feet of ILDA cable unbuffered, if that works, then I'm satisfied!
These shutter drivers will also handle up to 8VDC just fine, so if the 5VDC doesn't get you enough swing to clear the flag from the beam, then you can attach them to an 8VDC supply and it should be plenty. I run 5VDC in my projector and it's just enough to clear the beam path, and that's with a Lasever 635nm laser, which is a pretty good size beam spot on the flag.
