How much power could i expect when all aligned properly if i were to buy this kit, using the Long Open Can diodes i bought from Daedal ?
And what about beam profile ?
Is it possible to get it all aligned properly to a nice tight beam, or will it be very hard to do the far field alignment ?

Hope someone can give some info, i think the kit looks neat and well machined.
It could be the way to go to get a nice red in my projector.

You can have 1.2W in a tight 2x3.5mm beam, with low enough divergence. But it will cost you some extra money for good quality lens (I have the Roithner Lens27), and cost you more than a lot of time to find the perfect alignement and make it stable

Note, this is when overdriving the LOC diodes (350mA), but they seems to support this quite well (though it is better to cool them with a dual TEC at that power level).

With the lenses I have a beam diameter of 2,5mm x 2,5mm with 0,6mRad is achievable with a quad setup
