    Diffusion Bonded Composite Laser Crystal has so many advantages,
    " Decrease thermal effect , Inprove efficiency ,High damage threshold ,Improve beam quality ,Compact "

    Anyone kown which industry or lasers use more bongding crystal?

    Personally, I'm excited about these new bonded gain crystals. I think they are the simplest possble solution for improving direct modulation response currently available since they would be a direct replacement for current single-crystal gain mediums as they can be coated for the same wavelengths as typical discrete gain crystals.

    If laser manufacturers were to investigate the potential benefits of using these bonded crystals instead of the standard Nd:YAG and Nd:YVO4 it could benefit us very much. Lately there has been considerable interest in improving the way DPSS lasers respond to direct modulation, so a solution that doesn't involve completely redesigning cavities or adding electronic stability features would be highly valuable.
