    Thanks, Ian, good job.
Your chart make things more clearly, .
I also find there is little different when different people test, below is Ian and Maurice test together.
the same reflect red pass dichroic.
    Maurice(Mccarrot) test result is:
    red reflection, 97.5%
    green transmission,96.3%
    Ian(Doc) test result is:
Red reflection, 99%(look from the chart, maybe Doc would like give us exactly data)
Green transmission, 96%(look from the chart, maybe Doc would like give us exactly data)
Reflect blue pass green and red
    Maurice test result is:
    blue reflection, >99%
    green transmission, 96.4%
    red transmission,97.1%
    Ian test result is:
    Blue reflection,>98.5%
    Green transmission,>94%(look from the chart)
    Red transmission,>94%(look from the chart)
    Best regards!

Hi Chris, as reflect red pass green and blue dichroic, most are using it to combine green and red lasers, so Doc thought, it is useless to test refelct red pass green dichroic's transmission rate of blue.

every person here has other measuring results?!?

I know, this is a big problem of the Chinese manufacturers... one part is good one is very good and a other is bad... and this in the same batch.... I don't know why, but it was all the time so.

exactly the same with the Edmund dichros! I know them very good and they are manufactured in china too! I had edmund Dichros with very good efficiencies >98% ... but a few weeks later I have ordered the same dichros from Edmund end they had only 90% efficiency.... so the quality of them is bad!

that's the reason why we have looked for a manufacturer which makes all dichros in the same very high quality with 98, or 99 or more % efficience. and this not only for a sample-piece.

why is it useless to test blue transmisson, ??
i wanted to know how much blue i would lose through the dichro, my blue laser is second in the line so it has to pass through the reflect red dichro
    thanks

    Hi Chris,
Maybe you can reference Mccarrot's test.
    his result is:
red dichroic(reflect red pass green and blue)
    red reflection, 97.5%
    green transmission,96.3%
    blue transmission,97.4%
you also can find this result in his threads.
    Best regards!

Chris, chill man, I will test tonight and post the result

Vakuum, maybe the difference is due to the fact that I am using 650nm red and Maurice is using 660nm?

Bridge, I will add the exact figures when I get home from work.

Further data omitted from initial test; red dichro, pass blue performance:

    Old Laserwave = 91%

    New Laserwave = 96%

Series data added to chart for clarity:
