    Any of them to be fair. In this part of the market theres really only you and Laserbee. However whenever I do a search for your stuff i only ever get links to forums. Do you have a site? If not, it may be something to think about, coz theres lots of people out there who'd buy a decent little LPM.
    Where can we see more info about USB and pro versions?

    Any of the above my friend, seriously in need of a power meter, and apparently a laserbee is too little for my ALC68. One thing yours is missing that i'd love to see is an attachment for an analog meter, ie 0.1V/mW output somewhere, for walking in the mirrors i think analog is the way forward, but if you can supply schematics with yours i'm sure it wouldn't be a difficult mod to add.

    Kenometer pro

    for those familiar with the original Kenometer, here is a size comparison



    The Kenometer Pro is a culmination of a lot of hard work from Mario, Things, and I and have produced a spectacular laser power meter. Totally microprocessor controlled with 128x64 graphical LCD, the Kenometer Pro, is the ultimate in Hobby laser power meters, with a professional power meters attitude but not the price tag! On-screen graph, peak, current, min, and average power is displayed at all times on the LCD. The graph is set to record at a specified by you time frame and displays on screen.. In continuous monitoring an Analog meter is show in place of the graph that is ACTUALLY FUNCTIONAL.
    Connect the Kenometer Pro to your PC and graph to the software. Print your graphs. Use it as a selling point. "Was measured on a Kenometer Pro!" and include the printout with the laser. View the peak, current, average, and minimum on your pc live!
    As with the Kenometer USB, the Pro is a spectrally flat thermopile sensor that is capable of reading 300nm-1500nm without any adjustments. Reads from 1mW-5000mW and is Calibrated against a Coherent LabmaxII-TO.
    Kenometer pro comes with a sloped enclosure with a battery compartment for charging the included 14500 batteries. Thermopile connects via a coiled, shielded wire with an easy to remove plug.

    Looks like it's going to be a very nice meter! Question, I already have one of the Coherent heads built into a little meter with the LED readout. The one thing I don't have is an interface to connect it to a PC. Is that something that you can sell seperately?

    Here's a list of features for the Kenometer Pro:

    -Calibrated, spectrally flat, and professional grade thermopile laser sensor
    (no conversion factors or math needed)

    -Onscreen display in real time of the following:
    Current sensor reading
    Peak sensor reading
    Average sensor reading
    Minimum sensor reading
    Power over time graph or analog meter movement

    -Two modes, power graphing and continuous monitoring:
    Power graph mode for testing laser ouputs over a period of time
    Continuous mode for tinkering, like aligning the mirrors on a gas laser
    or adjusting power of a solid state laser

    -Powered either directly by USB from a computer, or internally by three
    14500 lithium cells

    -USB computer interface for saving laser performance data

    -User definable settings for onscreen graph window

    I don't get it. Where's the display and where's the buttons and ports on that thing? It's hard to make sense of the pictures.

    Looks pretty nice for a non-professional instrument though. How much does it cost and what does the PC software look like?

    It says in the caption thats the enclosure he'll be using.

    I guess the buttons and screen etc will be added later.

    +1 on cost?

    DZ, I bought a cheap RS-232 multimeter, (Uni-Trend UT60A) for mine, and hook the probes onto the same line going into the led voltmeter display. Throw in an RS232->USB converter, load up the uni-t graphing+logging software; done

    Yes that is something that could easily be done. One of my original Kenometer customers is looking to upgrade to pc connectivity. However if all your looking at doing is reporting a 1mv/mw voltage reading, a digital multimeter with pc connectivity would do it just as well. You can find one on ebay for around $70

    As daniel above said it's pretty simple to do. However, it is important to turn OFF the other display when connecting to the DMM as the additional load skews the readings.
