ahh, right right.
Yeah, that would be a good laser to get.

Hey welcom to PL
to you question , Yes the DAC connects to pc via USB and then the out puts control your lasers o-5 volts for modulation and then signals from the DAC also control the scanners , so the DAC connects the PC to LAser setup , usualy 3 laser are controled by the dac , red , green and blue , but 1 or 2 can also be controled
hope this hellps
All the best
Ben

okay...
So to start with i need the laser, the DAC and scanners?
(I know i then also need mounting and maybe some lenses and so, but the 3 most expensive things are: laser/DAC and scanners, right?)
I can fabricate the housing my selv....
Yep , laser , DAC and scanners and software to control it all, just wire up the scanners coretly to dac along with laser and then use the software to control it all , there are things you need to know about scanning speed and angle but im nott that good at explaning it , loads of people on here will know loads on itand help you

Yes yes. But thats all no/low cost. Thank you![]()
Thanks for all the info in this thread guys.
I have been learning all about lasers etc over at LPForum and have just built a little projecter combining RGV and a seperate higher power RG in 1 enclosure going through 2 seperate spiro's using dichros from the drive sleds.
I allready know that I have got the bug and will be aiming to build a RGB projecter over the next year incorperating LaserWave modules controled by Pangolin.
So there will be loads of questions to come (especialy on safety!)
Thanks to the original poster for the thread.
Cheers
Jason
