    Red face Pangolin DMX Cable

    Hi all

    Please can somebody have a look inside there LD2000 dmx cable and tell me the pin out as I seem to have lost both of mine during a studio move.

    DB-9F/DB-15F connector pinouts for DMX and video sync
    Signal name Pin Notes
    Drive true ...................1 ....... Data + for DMX
    Drive complement ........2........ Data - for DMX
    Video sync pulse in ......5 ....... Signal for video sync
    Signal common ............6 ....... Common for DMX
    Digital ground .............15* .... Ground for video sync
    * on QM2OOO boards with a DB-9F connector, pin 9 is used for Digital Ground

    DMX 5-pin XLR connector pinouts
    Signal name Pin Notes
    Signal common ..........1 ....Shield
    Drive complement ......2 ....Data -
    Drive true ................3 ....Data +
    Not connected ..........4
    Not connected ..........5

    I was just putting together the systems for the weekends events and found they had gone missing.

    also just want to comment if anyone is using DMX equipment with 3 pin connectors pins 1, 2 and 3 share the same functions on the 3 pin XLR as they do on the 5 pin XLR
