not impossible, but you do need a milling machine to do it.
if you glue the mirrors on the mounts exactly the same then its simple to get the holes for the mounts in the perfect place

I am facing the same challenge in gluing the mirrors to the flex mounts. I am not too concerned about tweaking the alignment on the screws, but a very consistent vertical glue up sure would allow a tighter packing. Did you use a jig? Any tricks?
Same issue on the diode. Any tricks to setting the stripe dead straight vertical.
Thanks for the offer Andy but Rob is going to sort us out with a two diode unit when he gets time.
Besides I think 7W in the harp is a bit much for the house.

i set the diodes vertical without lens on. i just put an object in front of the diode and using the edge/line (I) to get the diodes right.
i have my own silly method of glueing the mirrors on but its not very technical. just do what works fpr you, just make sure each is the same
