Do we have any kind of rough schedule for presentations? I'd kinda like to start working on some kind of schedule for the auditorium and would like to keep conflicts to a minimum.

Also, if you have content that you intend to run in the auditorium, please send me a PM with some details of what you have; genre, length, etc. I also need to know if you intend on running the shows on the gas rig or if you plan to use your own projector.

We are down to a little more than 2 months, which will likely fly by, it's time to start planning!

I don't see any problems with hanging mirrored balls in the cafeteria, provided we can borrow a tall ladder to get up there. Laser rain sounds cool!

With regard to a grill, I'm sure we could have one (or more) if we wanted, but as Brad said, that takes people away from the fun. (Unlike an oven, a grill really needs to be tended constantly.)

'tis.. since the first (..and only.. S'LEM to-date, I have always imagined a huge-arse MB, in the center of the auditorium, with 4x bounce-mirrors, in the house, mounted so that, with 4x scanned / bounced cones (tiny circles, rotated on Z + color-mod..) you could hit all 4 corner-quadrants of the MB.. circles, scanned like that, vs hard-beams, make for a) safer and b) mucho-mas 'beamlets', and with all 4 sides 'creating rain'??.. wow.. it would be breathtaking in there, with those nice, tall ceilings.. But, (iirc) you'd need a Genie, etc to get one up there, right?
Or, is there one? Memory-fail...

Anyhoo, even-if all ya can do is the 'Club' - ya, if Herr Brad brings 4 MBs?? Cripes, it'll be eyegasmik... And, ya really-don't need a lot of power - easy to both keep it safe, and make it look spectacular.. Wish I could be there... :/

I know there is a picture of platinum out there somewhere covering a smoke detector in the ceiling (and giving buffo a queezy feeling of apoplexy at the notion of having to deal with the possibility of a tumble!) Jonathan.... ya gotta make SELEM now, dude! We need you!

Well gosh, if you're going to put it that way, fine! I plan on showing up with my friend Andrew (laserlackey) this year. Will get the registration figured out soon. Grabbed hotel already.

Yeah, have a gig in PA the week-before, and planning to have my Boys out, in the weeks, following.. And, while they do think 'lasers are cool', etc, they get more than plenty of that stuff, from hanging with the ol' man on gigs, etc (..they've even come out to help set a couple / experience the pain ...but I'm preety-sure they'll prefer to go climb mesas and catch scorpions in AZ, or other-such again, so.. Additionally, I am still-catching up on my horrible builds-backlog, and shooting to *finally* get Cap'n Brad all blazing-up in his Laser Funderland, there, before then.. So.. no time for any 'prep', anyway.. Oh well.. there's always SELEM 2025...
