    Default Replacement modules from Casio

Hey everyone, I don't know if this has been addressed as I haven't been on the forums in months and months, but I just found out from my vendor that the light module in these projectors is $550. Great for harvesting because you aren't wasting an entire projector and it's $300 cheaper.

I assume so. The price comes straight from the Casio rep my vendor (CDW) deals with, so if it wasn't available, I don't think he'd pass me that info. He's a pretty straight shooter about things.

I just asked the vendor for part number and order info. As soon as I have that, I will post.

I have the part number but they are list $1295 so your contact must be giving a heck of a discount.

    Default Capitalizim

I don't know of any parts supplyers that sell replacment parts for more than the hole unit costs, Sounds like a little greed has kicked in thair, knowing they are in demand, that would be typical of Capitalizim, I don't doubt it's true. Now that I think about it!

Sorry to stir up the pot prematurely, but he's told me "it is not end-user replaceable and has to go to Casio," meaning they won't sell them.

That got me thinking, however, that now that we know they are available, I don't see why an independent Casio warranty service center wouldn't order them.

Or better yet, how to become a 'casio service center'

Its my understanding that there are a few people looking for ways to make this happen, and no one has managed to figure it out.
