if the sitter app cannot find the etherdream on the network, you either still have a problem with your windows firewall, or you have a problem with your network.
it should be exactly as simple as:
1) plug the etherdream into your switch
2) plug your computer into your switch.
3) let them both grab an IP from your dhcp server.
4) click the timeline / dac assignment icon.
5) click "ethredream" under the "enable controller type"
6) hit "Rescan"
7) drag the "etheredream" from "unassigned controllers" to timeline 1.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
