Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) -

For Outdoor Laser Shows (Open-air and/or 'Terminated' shows…) the FAA's most current '(as-of 3/28/13)' Regs-info is here:
http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/AIR/air2901.html and..
http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/AIR/air2902.html and..
http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/AIR/air2903.html and..
http://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publications/atpubs/AIR/air2904.html
This page / video- http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/lasers/hazards/ - is also some expanded-info on their 'thinking' / why-so 'sensitive' - and why it's of *paramount importance* that we, as Laser-show producers / companies - even individuals - comply with the FAA Regs / report-shows, even-if 'terminated'. Let's 'keep the Regs at-bay - BY complying with them'. :)

This- http://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/ato/service_units/systemops/aaim/organizations/airspace_rules/laser/ -is the nice, concise older info / contacts-page, that they - apparently - have nuked.. :\ But, am-leaving it up, for now, in case it's 'resurrected'.

'Latest Western Region ASP' (Airspace Specialist) 'as-of 6/1/12…'
Gary Winn
ATC Specialist
ATO-Western Service Center
Operations Support Group AJV-W23
Phone: 425-203-4561
Fax 425-203-4505
gary DOT ctr DOT winn AT faa DOT gov
