Then either the M2 capscrews are not wound up tight enough or your drifting problem is elsewhere.. loose collimators? epoxy going soft? diode mounting? holder mounting? lenses loose in holders? etc etc

Or maybe you were lucky and bought some of the limited edition silver rubber ones

    Seriously.. :-|

I tested the ones I made for thermal drift from -5 to +30 and the results were comparable to a brass flexture mount tested exactly the same way - very little movement over that wide range.
When adjusted correctly I have not seen any continuous misalignment problems, even on a module with 30 diodes.. maybe a tweak or two after the first transport/rattle around (it could have been something else settling down and not the mount at all) but no problems after that.

Remember, some people need to adjust their expensive Edmunds dichro mounts after every road trip to re-align beams. Obviously the problem is not the dichro mount there..

Yes maybe you are right and it's not tightened enough in my setup.

But for far field allignment of a dual or quad red its very difficult because when you have the correct alignment and you try to tighten it it's way off again, and you can start all over again, and I have spend allot af time already adjusting these mounts.

@Insanity the example you gave steering one beam onto your galvo's is not critical at all as your mirror are probably 4mm wide and the beam 2 mm, so even if your alignment is way off it will still hit the mirrors without any issues.

    Ontopic:

Very nice beamshots andy! the color blendings are very nice.

What is the total power of your white beam after the aperture?
