    Check out my new used toy...Oxford Lasers 15 Watt CVL Too bad it takes a forklift to move these monsters.

    Probably just as well as the potential for worst injuries at LEM's would increase from eye damage to limb removal accompanied by the smell of burning flesh.

    You guys are gonna need to find a stadium to deal with all the lasers you have coming there! Preferably one near a large power plant!

    I'm not sure just how I'm gonna move this thing around yet. I need
    to catch up to Clan when he gets back from overseas to get it running.
    All this talk of high voltage accidents scares the hell out of me though.

    Power for this laser is 240Vac single phase. I can run this from a clothes
    dryer outlet.

    Its most of the circuit that has KV all over it when it goes to power up mode...but then a lot of the components are for high KV levels to ionize the copper. I just hate the wait time....and huge beam....still awesome- it lases. Almost went for one of them.
