I'm guessing this is just the bare diode? If not I WANT ONE RIGHT NOW .

EDIT: Just the bare diode, but It's still a great price!

All can say is call him up. Pressing a diode into a $10.00 collimator is pretty easy.

    Hi there!

Could someone tell me if there is a possibility to buy them from Belgium? I and some friends would be GLAD to buy several of these diodes !!!

I fear the custom taxes though

    It is 150mw cw.

The Opnext HL6385DG is a single longitudinal mode, low aspect ratio laser diode with optical output power of 150mW CW (typ), at a lasing wavelength of 640nm, operating current of 280mA, threshold current of 110mA, operating voltage of 2.6V and LD reverse voltage of 2V. The operating temperature range is -10 degrees C to +40 degrees C.

Supplied in a 5.6mm package with LD-only pin configuration, this is a single longitudinal mode laser diode with TE mode oscillation. The 5.6mm package size is particularly suited to small, energy-efficient displays and low-power, high-quality optical applications.

Wow, this seems like a really good deal. Anyone ever buy anything from this guy or company before? What type of beam specs would you get with one of these in an aixiz mount?
