Laser Warning Coherent Sapphire 488-200HP OPSL laser Complete System

NEW!!! <1hr on laser head according to docs with it!
    Comes with absoloutly everything needed.

When I unpacked the leads, CD, plugs & sockets etc they where all still sealed in their bags. The head, PSU & Blower however had been unpacked but apparently only for photographing purposes.

Blower, hose, head, leads including serial lead to PC and full SW package to control it from a PC.

The blower is 110v, I am talking to the chap I got this from as to why this is as I didn't notice this until I got home with it and started to read the labels, but I will supply it with a 230/110v drop down box which will just sit inline in the cable from the PSU and the blower.

This is a 200mW laser but for some reason the laser will only output 77-79mW MAX and I can't get it to rise any higher either using the manual control on the front of the PSU or the PC control software. It's a bit beyond me though and I don't want to start tinkering with it and only make it worse so I am selling it like it is.

There are 2X 25pin D plugs come with it, one for analog control and one for PC control. Whichever way you wish to control the laser, you just plug in the appropriate plug into the analog socket on the back of the PSU.

Buyer pays either Cash on collection or Paypal but buyer pays Paypal charges.
It all comes in 4 boxes but obviously it can be put in one big box bit it WILL be heavy!
    Buyer pays all postage costs.

I haven't got any beam shots yet cuz it ain't dark here in the UK yet

MONETARY £GBP OFFERS PREFERED PLEASE BUT WILL PX STUFF

    Thanks

Why does the fan need to be so large for only 80mW? I thought these were many times more efficient than argons.

This is a 200Mw laser and was around £30,000 when bought new 3 years ago - that is why it has such a large fan - Stability to the upmost!

    A 200mW Argon would draw around 13-16A from a 230v socket, around 3000W - this draws <150W

Two pieces of bubblegum, a BURNING lazor, three dead IR diodes, and a sorehead trying to threadjack. If I won let PM me and I will send you my address . This is a nifty laser, I am sure that you will get a good amount of cash and or decent trade (no shipping nothing until you get your goodies).

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.
