What a cool project! I will try this out when I get home. I was wondering if you have considered implementing support for touch designer input? Would love to use your software in conjunction with some of my live reactive patches I have already set up within touch designer. Thanks!

Greetings Chums, I'm having a clearout of all my Lasery stuff and would like to find a new home for this RGB projector. I purchased it from another member a few years ago and never use it now so it's time for someone to grab a bargain (methinks). At the last LEM I attended it was measured as...

I don't post much, but have done some research on a bit of this, and knew a top researcher at CREOL (Center for Research in Electro Optics) at UCF years ago, Dr. Wu (see: https://creol.ucf.edu/person/shin-tson-wu/). His work was fundamental to nearly all LCD types today, and was helping efforts for...

Sorry for the late arrival. Just learned about MadLaser from a fellow laser showman's raving recommendations. Searched to see whether others are aware of it. Looks very impressive @ $275, but MadLaser is dependent upon a MadMapper license @ $550 or included within the MadMapper bundle @ $718....

Recently I purchased a q switched 532nm qg500 head. i was wondering if anyone had pin out or driving information for them. There's some information available on crystalasers website and i was able to find pin-outs for similar crystalaser dpss lasers but many of the wires on that were unpopulated....

Thanks! The zip contains a flat folder structure with *.dll's & an executable, which runs. Appears to be a very detailed tool, not only for display projectors, but engravers, as well. However, the zip contains no instructions. But, after digging deeper into OPTlaser's site, I found these...

AFAIK my Tmax uses a GS module which uses the DT XEON driver ive been talking with OPT and they have their own digital driver and even sent me the tuning software for it (if a diode needs replacing you will need this) so they are not the same at all, and all i can say without trying OPT's one...

Goldenstar's digital diode driver offers advantages in color representation, color tends to stay the same during fades etc. For graphics and logos the digital driver is impeccable. You can dial it down to 100 mW or less and white stays white. Steve

golden star, better beam.. thicker heat sink... diode protection and less overdriving and more correction. The thing is not all 25w is the same.. there is a good reason for the difference in price and its not all down to markups.

Have you tried checking if the wattage of the new blue bulb matches the original one? It might be the key to fixing the brightness issue. Maybe adjusting the color organ’s blue channel sensitivity could help align its output with the new bulb.

... I've tested some years ago, with an older 30W MOPA and "normal" stainless steel (in German "V2A" or "V4A") with not so good results (first combined image attached). Most of this "colourfull" results are made with steel, alloyed with Titanium (Chinese something like "steel #92") - have some...

Very cool. I ended up with a 200W JPT MOPA but I haven't been able to crack the stainless steel coloring yet. I managed to get a mauve color and a very light blue but that's about it. I suspect that it's because I have no idea what grade the stainless is. I imagine that has a lot to do with it....
