    Default Color Palette

Thought I'd start a new post so I don't hijack others

Have you thought of bleeding in a tiny amount of green with the 405, via a diode and a resistor divider?

It might just perk up the appearance of blue.

I don't want to hijack, but I was trying to work out to do this. As I only have a 405 at the mo. I was wondering how to 'fool' the software to produce a slightly better blue. it seems it can be done via hardware as per your post above.

Could you explain a little more on how this would be done please.

    Thanks

I'm running on a FB3. I've used the palettes on LD2000 but I don't think there is anything onthe FB3 like that. I'll send a help email to Bill.

There are far more elegant ways to do this, but I have done this and it does work.

However you will lose about .2v signal to your green laser, which may or may not affect its brightness.

    Thanks Doc,

If I do loose .2V I don't think it will be an issue as I am running the green at 75% to color match.

I'll have to give this a go in the near future. I take it from the diagram the box on the left is the DAC output. Will the ground go to the common color ground?

    Cheers

    Found these on ebay.

Are these the correct diodes for the OA90?

In that case you could just use another 1N4148. The common colour ground is correct.

    Thanks

Using another 1N4148 would make things easier. I should have some around somewhere.
