Default Diode and Xtal TEC controls for high-powered CNI lasers

I got a good deal on a nearly new 1W CNI head, but it originally came from Extremelasers. The serials for the head and PSU don't match, which is kind of a problem. It means that the PSU originally was temp. tuned to a different head.. Apparently Extremelasers thinks it's OK to mix and match these things.. it's not.

The laser makes over it's rated output, but only for about 15 minutes after a completely cold start.. Once the head has stabilized, it's doing within 5% of 800mW. I think all that's needed here is a temp tune, but I don't know which pots do what on the higher-powered FDA style PSUs.. If anyone has any info on these, it would be much appreciated.

Awesome! I haven't cracked open the PSU yet since the person I bought it from is currently inquiring about the remaining warranty (the laser was bought new at the end of Dec.).. if Extremelasers won't honor the warranty, I'll try tuning it myself.

    Many thanks Doc!!
