I've requested french maid outfits and one of them is going to bring a snake!

I should have spoke earlier, but did not want to be associated with what I saw in this thread. I will speak now, as Heroic is a valued member of this place, has made some great technology contributions, and the idea of Heroic leaving or being grossly offended scares me. Heroic is actually very liberal about orientations. If she is angry, I get concerned, fast. I cannot allow us to loose another great forum member, and I have seen one too many go.

People, this is a public forum. Lots of young people come here for help with their hobby. Yes there is normal male banter here from time to time, and our few females are not perfect when mentioning guys. There must, however be limits. Proposing a LEM in a public forum with "scantily clad maids" crossed the line, even if said "maids" would have came up with the idea. Yes, there is that culture thing. Whom am I to forget that a more then few women encourage the idea of a low cut costume being linked to easy Guilders/Euros/Dollars while they have the youthful body to take advantage of it.

Still, this one was a big no-no, you have no idea who may read this forum. I am not without sin, but there are limits!

If heroic would really be so mad and pissed due the nature of a LEM half way around the world, that she felt the need to "leave", I would be suggesting there are deeper issues. No one is that sensitive and easily offended with out choosing to be.

Again: I have scrapped the idea.
mention in advance they will be on the lem, thus not on my list are simply not allowed for entry.

It's also a safety measure so we can't have unexpected visit.
The gate will just remain closed if you try, and there is a police office close so I think this can be prevented.
I'm not saying that this does automatically guarantees safety.
But thats why I am going to take measures to make it a safe and fun lem.

@heroic, your welcome to join this LEM if your able to, my apologies if I offended you, which I likely did.

Remember I'm also just a human and mistakes are natural.
I have no hate or discust against you for being against the previous idea.
I don't see why this should have you leave the PL in any way.

It's just wat I want to highlight, in all this time I have been on PL I haven't seen a single female except you, it's not ment as an insult... but I'm just saying I would realy love to see a female share the interest with lasers and enjoy it on a LEM, but there is none to really have that become truth.

The maid costumes were more targeted to the cuteness, and not the sexy part or the less clothed part.

The maid costumes actually do not reveal that much body, and weren't the "general" type of maid costumes, where you are able to see much more then is considered appropriate.

It was more a kind of cute dress code idea, sadly not well thought out by me... as you can clearly see I admit my mistake.
How can I do more than that? I could have protested or started replying rude you know?
But I did not.

In conclusion: I made a mistake, I admitted my mistake, and in my opinion I did well to solve it.
I do want to highlight that both in canada and britan anime and anything between those lines is disliked the most.

To End it all now:
The main reason why this topic was created was to get opinions and feedback to the idea.
Surprising to say I am happy that this got this amount of attention, It helps me to get my LEM correct.
I read every comment and thought about each comment.

And I like to end this topic for myself with my final solution/reply,

I'd like to bring this to attention though.
I'm still able to do it, but it will not be maids of any sorts.
Just waitress is a possibility.
I mean it's a job right? if that is demeaning or gender discrimination then we can say the whole profession of a waitress is.

I'm not doing that right now, but I can continue it in different form, but since I cannot keep changing it back and forth I'm thinking with great care now.

Once again: I'm not going that right now and will take it a bit into consideration.
It still is my lem indeed, and sadly to say I don't think a LEM would be really visited by girls anyway, my apologies heroic, but lets face it... it's the truth.

I won't be forcing or ordering this girls to wear any skanky or low dressed clothing.
So it won't be any form of sex appeal, the whole idea of having this is to just add some extra luxery to the lem itself.
In a restaurant you also not going to get your own drinks or orders.... why? Because that's what we call luxery.

The waitress can bring foods, you can just call one and have your order taken.
Since there is a BBQ and food and off course beverages to choose from.
The first drinks will likely be on me for coming to the lem.
Second drinks have to be paid, but with little additional costs.
The LEM is not ment for profit, but off course things need to be paid).

If this is still being considered of wrong, then I'm rather leaning to the idea as if girls are not allowed to do a job in events at all.... And that's because that's just plain mad.

However If anyone tries to harres a girl I would consider that a serious issue, if a girl would complain about this I will personally keep an eye on it and take measurements.
But I do not think this, because you would seriously harm your own reputation right away in view of other PL'ers so.... it's your funeral if you decide to do that.

Again, I'm taking this into consideration...

Also heroic im not telling this girls this time to dressup as anything, I'm giving them a free choice.
So I think I by just having said this I give the girls a big degree of freedom.
And I watched from a womans perspective too, and if someone said I'm free to wear what I want, serve drinks and get paid I would be more than happy.
