I,m looking for a solution to store my dichro,s and mirrors safely. I have a Gelpak plastic box that has a layer of sillicon in the bottom and they work great. Does anyone know where you can get those?

Buy silica gel in raw... there is a blue variety that turns pink when it is full of humidity. You put it in the oven and leave it there for a few minutes until it becomes blue again. Keep everything in a tight sealed box, you should be ok. That's how i keep my cameras and lenses free of fungus. (You might find silica gel in gardening supplies shop)
@ Edison - Gelpak in the states sell them. Not seen any distributors anywhere.

thanks guys. Its amazing that you can,t buy them elseware. I only need 3 or 4 at most. Maybe i can ask some suppliers that also are in the laserbussiness. Thanks for the help anyway![]()

I get mine at nanoscience.com, they are a bit pricey ($5.5 a pop last time I got them) but they are better than buying trays of smd's to get the box ;-)
