No Fog Machine Needed

I live in NE Ohio, and this is not fog- it's smoke from a Canadian wildfire and it's bad enough to set off the fire alarm at the Newton NC auditorium!

I remember seeing the occasional Brown Cloud over Denver, but nothing like this. Needless to say, I won't be cutting grass today. It's time to break out the
N95 mask.

I stepped out of my house, got a taste of the chemical smell, winced. It's not good out there, and I pray for anyone with asthma or allergies. I'm also in Ohio, near the "North Coast" in the 330....

I don't have time to get the projector out tonight. Not sure I'd want high order polymer / corrosive crud on my mirrors anyways.

Your picture is a mild optical density compared to northwest Portage County.

I turned around to see if the house is on fire, then checked on Mom at the nursing home in case her allergies flared up. She's fine.
My throat is sore.

Yeah, even in SC we have been getting days where moderate exercise outdoors causes me to cough and get a sore throat. It's also reeking havoc on my early morning flying visibility . .
