I've heard of one user on Parallels (MAC) and one doing WINE for Quickshow only. The problem is adding an extra interpolating control layer between a safety critical laser real time laser show controller and a CPU is not a great idea.
This is why no one does try it. Both of the afore mentioned cases were trying this for studio use only. Beyond makes function calls to both the OS and the Mother Board on a PC. I doubt many emulators go that deep or will tolerate all of Beyond's custom video and hardware drivers. People have tried before, generally with very negative results. DirectX, OpenGL, Lots of other issues.
Windows 10 Long Term Service Channel (LTSC) might be a much better idea. It's a Stripped Win 10.
