Cheers! Thanks for the welcome.
This space for rent.
I'll throw a dart at the calender and say somewhere between November and February
I know there are lots of unfinished projects on the go for a lot of people at the moment so nothing too soon. I'm not sure about other logistical considerations there are for the Melbourne guys at the above mentioned months as there will probably be shows to do in the summer party season.
It's a rough shot I know, but it's a start.

november to february would be busy - but its just a couple of days.
we have too much shit to build at hte moment to justify the time before summer anyway.
summer would be good - could have a bbq, play with lasers...
Now proudly stocking and offering the best deals on laser-wave

lol, Whenever you organise something in summer in Melbourne, you always end up coping a heatwave or some kind of intense storm! When I used to live in Melb, whenever I had planned to do something, the weather would come and screw it up for me :P
You don't wanna run them big argons and whatever else you have in summer, surely?![]()
Just need to keep it all indoors then
mmm laser bbq!

Ok lets set a perspective date we can work towards and see what comes out of it.
Once we got a date we can see who is able to make it, start looking for secure venue etc, i could probably slap together a sharepoint portal that we can use to coordinate if there is interest,if it works out as usefull ill open it up for other LEM around the world to use.
That's a great idea.
I don't know how sharepoint works
But I imagine if you could display a table
With say;
-People interested
-People confirmed
-Calendar where people can block out dates they can't attend.
Is this possible?
If it is it would create a composite (dates not available) overview then we could all put in preferred dates picked out of the composite (dates available) windows that are left.
If this is to hard to implement maybe. We could generate an excel template and people could enter yes or no to dates within a date range from 1st nov 2010 to the 31st of March 2011.
Each person who is interested has to send their (cant attend dates) excel file to one person to collate by say the 31st of July 2010.
Then the composite (dates I can attend) file is emailed to all interested parties.
People can then propose their preferred dates from there.
I've probably made this way to complicated than it needs to be but just putting it out there.
Nice work zerowaitstate
