wow I haven't even mentioned a price yet! I'm not sure what these are going to cost, my goal is $25 for a 3 channel board, but I haven't even layed out a printed board yet. The prototype is not completely finished, I'm sending it out for testing before I start working on the layout. If I get a chance tonight, I'll post a before and after video of one of the shows I have so you can see the difference.

are u using the the TL074??
    They are TL084

You don't have to... We trust you!

That would be an absolute *STEAL*. They're worth a lot more than that to me.

Here's the bottom of the prototype. For a printed board, I'd like to get this down to 1/3 the size of this.

Especially for me to do a one off PCB in Australia

Was going to do my own but it would be on a single sided PCB so it would be much bigger than what could be achieve on a double sides board

BTW, Any chance you could add an option for X-Y size control onto the board as well?

This would make it truly universal

I'd like one as well - please add me to the list.

Is that the schematic that is on the pangolin page or something with optical feedback?

ps: not a very clever way to lay out a proto (rewiring something is practically impossible with all the traces covered in solder)

Its the schematic on Pangolin's web site, plus additional circuitry that was recommended by Bill.

Well your right, if this was the initial layout, then it would be a real pain to change. The circuit was originally on a solderless breadboard and redesigned several times. I made this one to be sent out and passed around for feedback on how well it works. If there's anything that needs to be changed, I can change it on my solderless breadboard and not really worry about redesigning this "model" board. I want to see how well it works on other projectors before I print up a board so I don't have to make any special changes to a printed board.

Hey Troy, the final design probably will not include that feature. The final product I envision will only connect to the +RGB and -RGB lines and will not have the bulky DB-25 connectors on it. This is designed only to sit between the DB-25 connector on a projector and the 3 lasers.
