So what's wrong with wanting to figure out how to make a free one?
I bet the one that "has already been done" is 2D. And it was probably drawn by hand, frame by frame.
I think it would be more fun to do it in 3D and do it with math.
So you throw out there that someone else has already done it. Is that the best you can do? YOU didn't do it!
Who asked you anyway?
Get stuffed.

What do you mean by real? Is that the hallucination in our heads that we have when we open our eyes and try to make sense of all the stimuli that our body picks up?
There is a really good example out there than someone named Albert used mathematics to better model the 'real' world, to show us something we could not see with our own eyes. His models resulted in someone called Theodore to build a device that brought a lot of joy (and light) to our existence.
Maybe we should not get philosophical at this moment.just teasing.
zok im not looking for arguments
I would like to see an ild file with an animated teseract in it.. Thats the challenge.

Welcome to PhotonLexicon, Tom! Always nice to see new members. And don't sweat being new to the world of computer-controlled shows. We all were there at one point. There's plenty of help available here; if you need it, just ask!
Sounds like a great first-time build project. Remember to take pictures of the process as you go along. (We like pictures!i'm in the middle of building my first galvo-projector right now actually! a 20kpps set, and ive got my first modulated laser on the way too... a 150mW 532. Oh and mamba black will be mine in the middle of January too!
) Then, when you get it working, post more pics of it in operation! (Did I mention we like pictures?
)
Yup... Been there man. That's where most people start. Nothing wrong with that at all. Though you have to understand that hanging around this place is *really* bad for your wallet. Within a year you'll be wanting to make the jump to full color! (Though if you're savvy about building things yourself, you might be able to accomplish that feat for less than you may have thought!)before that i was just doing geometric patterns with that 'lissajous' program, and two crappy open loop galvo's with my ebay laser pointer lol.
First things first though - get that green projector working!
And again, welcome to the forums... Where are you from anyway? (You need to fill out your profile info.)

As Soforene stated, there is a moving Tesseract in the Mission Impossible show.
I’ve exported that part of the show out to an Xvid avi file
It seems to be done with only two frames that then manipulated in perspective, scale, depth cue, rotation
I could be wrong but I could only find two non animated fromes in the frame list

Why's that matey?
Your original post said that you'd like to see this done with a laser and I helpfully posted that it had been done so already and posted the details.
Then you posted that it hadn't been done.
I guess you can't argue with an idiot who's faced with irrefutable proof and still denies it I suppose (I guess it's down to the company you are keeping on the forum).
Loopee, although I too looked for the frames in the show, they appear to have been done with clever programming.
And that was back in 1997 !
Some clever blokes out there in the professional world, eh !
