Elektrofreak: Sorry it sounded like it doubted you, after your explanation and taking a closer look i see that you are complety right. I DO have a FAC lens.
    Only thing is ALL C-mounts on Ebay at this moment are 808 +/- 10nm and as i was explained i need a 2W 808nm +/- 3nm.
I thought i saw one, with Hesc_photonics, but ended in a bidding war with 3 days to go ;-( If someone knows a:

2W 808nm +/- 3nm C-mount WITH FAC i really, really would like to buy it.
Since this is my first laser repair i would appreciate it, if it was affordable, so when i break it i don't have to be broke for the next 10 years ;-)

One thing you could do is send a message to ebay seller snoctony and describe in detail what you need. He most likely will be able to provide it for you at a reasonable cost. I've found that with him, the listed inventory is not always everything he can get.

Just sent him mail via Ebay, let's wait and see.
If someone has other tips or suggestions, i would love to hear.

Maybe i should contact David from Lasever and ask what diodes they use ?
Is he on here ? I saw a Dave once in a Lasever thread here, but don't know if that is the Lasever Dave ?

EDIT: I bought a module of Snoctony. He said although it was listed as +/- 10nm it has a tolerance of +/- 3nm.
Will take i think a few weeks to arrive, so keep you posted.

    hey hobbybob..

i also ordered (and received) the same 2W 808nm C-mount diode from snoctony. I'm trying to fix the same type of laser as AlexGe in this thread. Alignment is a bitch.. but after a few days of frustration i'm now getting around 100mW of 532 running the diode at 2A (max should be 2.8).. so i guess i need to tinker with it a bit more..

    good luck with your repair!

I had it shipped through DHL express, which cost me an additional $30,-. It was on my doorstep within 4 days!
I needed to repair the greeny for a show.. Altough it was delivered in time.. I was not able to repair it quickly enough..
