    Default LW20K pinout ?

    Hello,

Does anyone know how to connect a LW20K scannerset ?
Since it's laserworld on the site there is a "manual" but ofcourse not showing where to connect what.

Hope someone can help me out here ?

Thats a pain.... I just went to the site to have a look myself. The LW-20 scan set manuals have very basic info.

I had no problems wiring my LW-50 set because the manual consist of these details.
I see that the LW-20's have a single driver board. I bet you simply use the LW-50K pinouts but just for the single driver.

But we really need to confirm this before you do so

    Thanks for your reply !
Indeed everywhere i look (laserworld site, JMlaser (the KN12 scanners are the same!) it's no info.
I bought these ones from lexat (actually they were added as a bonus) have already sent him a PM.
There's 3 white wires sort of glued to the connector (which says +15 GND -15) and i have a gutfeeling that these must be his wires that he used.

So will wait a little for his answer (or someone else having the KN12e scanners from JMlaser or the LW20K).
Have almost finished the case, need to adjust the scanner for the correct height etc.
But first i am gonna make some dinner ;-)

    18v + in
    gnd
    18v- in

    x axis input
    gnd
    y axis input

Have a look at this thread http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...laserworld+20k think it is the same set. Also, have a search for a modification that can be done on this to imporve performance. I have this set but not been brave enough to try it yet.

But it will improve with changing the capacitors ?
Then it would be worth trying right ?

I don't mind, this evening i swapped out the LW20K set for another cheap scanner set i bought of ebay and had lying around ?
Reason being that i wanted to show a friend the scanner and accidently touched it on the mirror which of course immediately broke off. So i will have to glue it with epoxy, but am not certain it will stay on.
So after that i don't mind swapping 2 capacitors, right now it's broken as hell, so i can't get any worse ;-)

What i thought is to cover the mirror with Rob's First Contact, except for the place where i have to glue it, then epoxy it on the ax of the galvo, then leave it to dry. Then pull off (carefully!) the first contact.
Never used it before so a nice test ;-)

Tomorrow i'll finish of the first green projector. Hopefully i can play around with it, else after the weekend.
