I remember talking to Ivan Dryer about stereo laser imagery "a while ago" (somewhere between 5 and 15 years...) He was using stereo glasses that shuttered one eye at a time. I guess he was playing with polarization too, since he mentioned that only a few of the omnimax screens out there preserved polarization...
