I tried Bing and Ask and no redirects.

Somehow someone has hacked the redirect code into Google. I doubt Google has any idea or they would have fixed it by now.

I think you should contact Google with the information Marc.

Yes. You can still make out the original search from the address bar.

    Marc,

It may just be a simple problem with the httpd configuration. If you're hosting multiple virtual websites on the same host or virtual host, it's pretty easy to munge httpd.conf so the wrong site appears.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

do they run the Apache configs etc? or is it colocated? if they are managing the server for you this is 100% their problem and has nothing to do with google... google is pointing to ctlasers.com and the other site, its the apache config (or something on that server) thats doing the redirecting...

the machine got hacked, plain and simple

I am fairly certain 1&1 does all this and he probably manages everything from a CPanel or something like that right?

    Swami, Flecom-

i just use a control panel. i do all the deisgning and upload it to 1and1. All the server ??'s and DNS stuff and httpd stuff is way beyond my pay scale. i have NO idea.

I called them, and had them go to google and try the same thing out that i asked you guys to try. wouldnt ya know it, it went right to my website? (of course).

he said he can try a "soft reset" of my server but not too sure if thats just some BS to feed me or not. Is there something definitive i can tell these ding bats to do or to look for?
