I think it would be best for me not to post on here in public. I've been having bad luck with internet types. Totally different world. Yeah SELEM is going to be great. It's why I'm going to fight to make it there.

Round trip from Phoenix thru Houston to Selem is according to the mapquest 42Hrs. I think we will do better than that.
It is cheaper to fly but you cant bring much with you and what you do may end up damaged and adding in a rent car-- So driving is the better way especially with three sharing ( Em and I are two-- we sure could use a thrid attendee to be picked up along the way.)

Keep it all nice on SELEM. I doubt there should be any problems.
I'm overall a type that has the fact that everyone diserves a second chance or something and look from a neutral perspective.
Just saying that you shouldn't abuse it.
Anyway back to the LEM.
I should have all information in by tomorrow.
then I know more.
Can't wait for SELEM!

I believe you were asking SpaceJay how long it would take him to drive, right? Because he was the one who offered to share the ride from New York to Newton with you.

According to Google Maps, it's a 10 hour drive from New York City (which is where your plane will land) to Newton, North Carolina.

Some of us have short drives (like me - I only have to drive about 4.5 hours), but some people will be driving for 25 hours or more. Lots of folks from Florida will be driving for 10 hours or more to get to the event. And a few people will be flying in from either Texas or the west coast of the US.
