Photonic do seem like a pretty decent outfit, apart from having one less diode in stock than promised. The diodes should run at very high outputs for short periods. One took 600mA for around 15 seconds... It was a mistaken ramp in current, so I didn't have the LC ready to take a reading but I bet the output was heading towards 400mW...
Funnily enough, it didn't last much longer tho...
