Thanx Dan !! Onward the quest for more red photons !!! Do you think one could squeeze out a few more photons by TE cooling this LD ???? Always thinking !!!

Beam
Beam Axiom #1 ~The Quantum well is DEEP ! Photons for ALL !!
.
Beam Axiom #2 ~Yes...As a matter of fact...I DO wear tinfoil on my head !!
.
Beam Axiom #3 ~Whe'n dout...Po ah Donk awn et !!
.
Beam Axiom #4 ~A Chicken in every Pot, and a Laser Lumia in every Livingroom !!
.
Beam Axiom #5 ~"Abstract Photonic Expressionism"....is "Abstractonimical" !!
.
Beam Axiom #6 ~ "A Posse ad Essea" ~ From being possible to being actual ...is the beam target !
Thanks for your effort Dan!
Diodes arrived this morning thanks - will get to have a play and post findings this weekend.
http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/lp...lts-68104.html
someone has tested these before.
Dont look like to much good, but i hope your tests do better.
Testing straight to destruction isn't really that great.
Getting enough datapoint to plot a curve would tell one much more. I'd also try and do it without a collimating lens (assuming you can capture all of the light onto the sensor); just one less variable...
- There is no such word as "can't" -
- 60% of the time it works every time -
i know but the power out was not to much more than the other ones.
Lets just hope for the best.
the shittest testing ever in that LPF thread.
lets just turn the current up and up till the diode dies...
Eat Sleep Lase Repeat
yeah thats why i hope more testing will show what these can take and with good life.
Been wanting a good life red with decent beams and it may just be 4x of these in a quad but who knows maybe that shorty fl lens plus the optics will correct the 300mw ones and make these un needed.
diodes arrived today, thanks a lot sir briggs!
i hope i will find some time in the weekend to see some red photons
"its called character briggs..."
Diodes arrived a couple of days ago but been to busy to even unpack.
Thanks Dan
