    I don't know if that pbs will work too well with the wrapper still on it

    Looks awesome. How many hours would you say you put into building a unit like that from scratch?

    It's an improved AR coating. When the beam hits it, it turns into carbon and burns itself onto the optic. Carbon is very good at absorbing light

    so many hours ive lost count.

    I could tell. It looks more like a passion than a profitable enterprise. Anyway keep posting these projects as they are always great to see.

    you hit the nail on the heat. but thats only on this build they are not all like this.

    Yes it's the one-offs and prototypes that take silly time to get through..

    just cad'ed the whole thing up including all parts, so the next (if i do one) will be much much quicker.
