no way. i just mash buttons until pretty light comes out. LSX does the hard work.

i'm really happy that i'm beginning to get some analog style abstracts happening.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Stunning work! I'm still working my way through LSX, but that had to take some doing to get such control over the 4 separate patterns of your [pattern previously called 'acid squid] moving in and out of a single pattern.

-The lumia was from the same projector?- edit: I see from your youtube comment it was a standalone. Still used to amazing effect!

    Nice.

i call my new lissajous work the "electric rainbow acid squid".. it's very much a lot of trial and error to get harmonics that are both stable and look interesting when you apply the transforms to them.

the difference between the group of 4 swirling abstracts and the sort of black hole flocking screensaver abstracts is a function of how many times the abstract is cloned and the x and y offsets of the clones.

the lumia is from a separate projector. see this thread:

The lumia was from the same projector?

    Mega photon-yumminess!

More specifically, I thought this show demonstrated great use of effect repetition with frequent interesting tangents. The rate of effect changes and eye-catching varying use of color effects kept things interesting enough for even for those people afflicted with ADD. Such a dynamic and beautiful single projector show (excluding the lumia) even to a relatively soft song really demonstrates what an artist can do with LSX.

I look forward to seeing it in person at SELEM!

Invite her to come to SELEM as your guest!

Sure, it probably won't happen, but what if it did? Worth a shot Chris...
