I apologize guys...
In my first post I wrong attachment...
Zipped file was 1,4kb only! Too little for a 3D animation!
Now I corrected the attachment... It is the good one, Beyond cue format (".bcue")
Please excuse me for the inconvenience.

Hello,
Very nice! You are very talented.
Still learning Beyond, myself.
ED
Nice Steve! I've been playing around in the 3D animation editor a bit recently, getting to know my way around how all the cameras and such work. Although at the same time I have university, so play time can be a bit limited!
The no ILDA export thing is a bit of a shame, but BEYOND is bloody great![]()
Steve, thanks for sharing; you contribute so much work it is appreciated. The animations are impressive, ILDA airport, very clever)
May I ask, about how many hours did you put into learning and writing your first 3D animation? Just wondering approximately how much time it takes to get to that next step....
-Jason
Hi Jason!
Well...
I have nothing to hide about how I created "ILDA Airport"...so I can peacefully tell you:
- the aircraft:
It comes from a "low poly 3D aircraft model" I found over internet. It was a Google Sketchup FREE model. Loaded by Sketchup and exported to "fbx" format, good for to be imported by Pangolin Beyond 3D animation tool.
- Airstrip/Airport buildings and all remains components: created by me, using simple solid figures (cube, pyramid, sphere).
I spent most part of time to create a good camera path. To choose a good value of camera "elevation" from the ground level and a good "viewing-angle" also have been the most "boring" thing. All camera paths have been created by "create empty curve" command.
Camera target is a little "hidden" cube, which I put on top of the control tower of airport. I used it for the "round aereo view" all over airport.
Another "hidden" cube has been used like target, placed at the begin/end of airstrip. This way I obtained a straight camera view, all airstrip long, to simulate the landing.
Final animation has been obtained combining all sigle short animations, placing them on the timeline, like a little Beyond show.
How much time I spent?
Gosh!!! Hard answer it is!!!
It will depend how much expert you are using Pango Beyond 3D animation tool...
I think half an hour for a "discrete/good" user; a couple of hours for beginner users (like me!!!).
But.... Watch out! this is my PERSONAL valuation!
Anyway I still need to learn much much more about Beyond 3D.
It is a powerful tool.
The hardest to me is: translate from English to Italian all menu instructions and "pop-up" menues showed while you are using some function.
Ahh! .....Dad & Mum!!! Why I was NOT born in a native "speking-English" Nation!!!!!!!!!
Greetings!!!!![]()

Hi Steve
Great 3d thanks if you have some time can you do a small demo how you did it.... its good also Beyond wont work with Quick show... Any Ideas how to convert to .ild
Wow- that's awesome! No ILDA export (or import?) from Beyond would be a deal breaker for me. It's not like Pangolin can't figure out how to do it. What do you suppose their reasoning is behind leaving it out?
