Has anyone gotten this working? (on Android) I've been toying around with it on and off for a while now and can't seem to get OSC to see any hosts. I've tried working it from about every angle (static routing, disabling firewalls, etc, etc) and can't get rtpMIDI to connect nor TouchOSC to recognize any hosts.

I might finally give in and just pick up an iPad. That OSC just looks too awesome.

Some others have been having the same problem, What fixed it for them was to run the Sync feature in TouchOSC Editor while scanning for a host, You can also add the device by entering the Ip of you android device and a port.

That did it. I had not grabbed the editor yet; I was just using rtpMIDI in conjunction with the TouchOSC application. Working now.

Thanks was able to get this working! Special thanks to CMB helping me through the obvious with a midi issue.

i tinkered with this a bit, using latest LSX beta i was able to send messages to LSX directly from TouchOSC without help of rtpmidi (on Android i had to use TouchDAW which is quite confusing first)

Im back from the dead, Checking if there is any interest in an update to this?

Going to dust of my old workhorses and see if i can do some improvements. Has the community moved on from LSX? i sure havent, and if This TouchOSC template i made is still used by some i would be more then happy to add or update it with more features and changes that the community wants.

i'm still using LSX all the time! i recently did a big museum / art installation with LSX and OSC.

Swamidog's inspiring videos have also resurrected TheHermit. I'm an old school laserist, from the era prior to ILD files & frames.
Upon returning 6 years ago, I followed in the steps of Swamidog, but couldn't cozy up to LSX and started developing my own laser synth, using midi & audio technology with Reaper's DAW, Akai APC40 mkii (purchased for LSX because that's what Pangolin used for Beyond), and now Behringer's X-Touch w/X-Tender). Currently wrapping up the T4 Laser Synth ver VII & hopefully the final PCB #3. Reveal thread coming soon (I keep promising, while playing whack-a-mole with unforeseen gremlins).
Having worked out image generation, I'm planning to add TouchOSC for multiple image master controls, with page selection buttons to specify the functions, ie: size, symmetry, position, 3D rotation, color, and intensity of a (L&R) pair of 2D areas on a multitouch 17" monitor (instead of joysticks).
To that end, I'm very interested in learning more about your TouchOSC template and its application.
Don't know how I've overlooked this thread until just noticing your recent post. Heading back to your original to check it out.
