Coherent Enterprise II Laser

[tolland]

We have a Coherent Innova Enterprise II Ion Laser (150/50 mW) that is surplus from a flow cytometer, and was testing working today. It has a 32A commando plug fitted, and is described as drawing up to 29A @ 240V. The chiller takes mains voltage normal UK IEC cable and is rated for up to 5kW heat load. We will accept 600 GBP ono, and I can deliver it, in the London area.

I'll add some more photos when I get a chance. (I am not really sure what it's worth, as similar models have high prices on ebay, but don't appear to be selling like hotcakes)

(sale is on behalf of the London-Biohackers)

[142laser]

I would suggest testing it again now and adding details on the wavelength and power if you want to sell it. Good luck! Phil

1200 what? Goats? Groats? GBP? Ugandan Dollars?
Might have a better idea of currency and any shipping implications if you listed your location in your profile too

The unit is located in E2 postcode, and if you are local to East London, I can deliver it.

Hiya, Mr T...

Well.. Got all kinds of giddy seein this 'Title', but.. Gotta say, I think the 'biohackers' are barkin up the wrong tree, here (..by hoping to hawk this on PL..) 'Cuz, this:

50mW @ UV351-UV364
150mW @ 488nm

..isn't terribly useful for "us".. For one, UV certainly isn't of-much use for light-show peeps (..of-which, PL is mostly-comprised-of, regardless of whether 'Pro or Am'..) and this is an awful-lot of 'beast' to glean a mere 150mW of Cyan... and only-Cyan. If it were a true-multiline Ar, or - better-yet, an Ar/Kr - well, you might have better success / interest 'round these parts.. But this, as-is? Don't really see it 'flyin off the thread'...

..Not tryin to 'drop a turd in yer punchbowl' m8, but.. Jus' sayin.. Perhaps an industrial / medical-focused eBay-list might be a better-getter, for the 'biohackers' (..whatever that-means..

Solo dos centavitos..

Well I tried to edit the thread title, but changing the subject of the post doesn't seem to affect the one that's shown in the forum list. Oh well ;-)

for the 'biohackers' (..whatever that-means..

The biohackers are a subgroup of the London hackspace, which is a workshop on hackney road, with various workshop tools and 3d printers/laser cutters etc. The biohackers often receive donations of surplus equipment from universities and businesses etc, and we try and make things out of them. Unfortunately in this case, we don't have much use for it.

You could use it to cure uv glue some 3d printers do this, going for the put it to use hacker space side of things.
