It will be nicer to see a winner from this than having money refunded. I feel bad for Cruch's accident but he should have been more transparent from the very start. If he needs some time to recover, fine we can take it in a fairly slow pace BUT we also want to be reconfirmed that this is still going in the good spirited PL way in which we bought the tickets. Give us updates and as suggested tell us the income you had, who has which tickets (I forgot my numbers and password to your site anyway) so we can collectively decide how to proceed.
    Cheers.

    cruch...

i think its time to start some explanations. we all (including myself) have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. but you pop on every once in a blue moon with no definitive answers or updates other than, "sorry, i had some issues..."

we all have issues. and we all gave you PLENTY of leeway here. and we ALL are STILL trying to assume you did and WILL DO the right thing. but come on dude..

if i had this many peoples money, hurt or not, i would make DAMN SURE i had some SERRIOUS answers as to where all that money is. you took on a responsibility to hold this raffle...you need to make good on it. PERIOD!!

if you are that hurt (which i AM NOT doubting) then you need to hand the money or account or program or WHATEVER over to someone else IMMEDIATELY.

this is a FAIRLY close community and MANY friendships have been forged here. i would HATE to see something as silly as THIS ruin a GREAT community forum.

i think you need to do whats right and do it VERY soon. sorry friend, that may seme harsh, but enough is enough.

On the raffle, it says Ocupied numbers:70
    70*5 euro is 350euros - paypal fees.
so there is around 300euros in this raffle.

So there you got the income

    It sounds good to me.
I think that refunding will make just Paypal very happy...

(I'm already prepared to loose my "investment" )

It's ok for me, I think it's the best idea to save the face for this time (admitting they will not be a lot more taked numbers), and I don't mind to be refunded my 5€ (or 10, doesn't remind me) minus the paypal fees... What's 10€ meaning in this hobby? I spent at least 100 times this amount in laser and beer since the begin of the raffle

But we can take lessons from that, for the next time...

So we have I think 330€ => 480USD, we can have for example a 200mW CNI laser... Or maybe if a manufacturer make us a better-super-handsome-action-just-for-this-raffle, we can expect a little higher power... Less than 500mW, but still good to take for 5€ !!

My idea is to send a pasword to BUFFO that only HE can se !
Then you upload a zip file to the server (WITH A PASSWORD)

Then someone on this forum pick a number.. let`s say #44 !

And buffo (that is a trusted person i think) tells us what person got the number and are the lucky number !
After that is done, everybody (that did download the zip file) recive the password (from buffo) tand can double check that the actully number is correct :-)

I know this is not a 10.000$ contest.. but it did sound like a fari way to do the pick..

    And for the money\laser !
    My idea:

Send 400$ to bridge (laserWave?) and they pick a random NICE supprice and send it to the winner

I think it`s time to end this asap !

I actually think the "lottery" idea was a good idea, but did not expect it to take so long time..
I wish to se another lottery some other time maybe

Agreed... I'd personally rather see a lesser prize picked or have the lottery keep going. I'm only in for one ticket though...
