The PS on the pump/water tank half is the supply for the pump and controller board. The board in question is the big one on the other half where the TEC's plug into.
Are their test points on the board? Mine has them. If so, maybe you can call thermotek and beg them for the boards service manual. Try and get the software too!![]()
After a close examination of my board it seems that the relays on the TEC PS maybe directly controlled by the controller. So, this means you may not be getting line voltage to your PS. Check to see if your getting line voltage to your TEC PS. If you are not. Bypass the circuit breaker (main power switch) and see if you are then getting power to the board.
yep,it has 120 AC at the TEC supply,no test points,
I am going to remove the TEC supply and check the traces
yep, both relays work hot and cold
Thank you for this great info 300Evil!!
yep the TEC supply is the issue,,
who here likes to work on power supplies?
No burnt traces,no smoked components
Should i replace the FET's and Fred?
I measured 118 Volts DC to the Fet's

Well, you could take the FET's out and test them to see if they work or not.

External power to the TEC's 22 volts @4 amps this thing gets the water temp down fast!
I have not ever checked FET'S before.
After looking at your PS I see they are very similiar just a different layout, the 3 twisted pair is the same obviously our control of the PS.
The output on my PS is wide open nothing,an occasional glitch on the o-scope when contacts close or open,
