OK ladies and gentlemen Im gonna stick my neak out and say that the subs on the day will be £7.50 per person - to cover cost of the room, and Im sure you will all appreciate what a bloody bargain this is. I will be collecting the monies to pay to BK our generous host.

Cant wait (but wish it was 2 weeks away so I could do all the jobs I want beforehand)

Edit - After posting this I thought it might be useful to qualify why I have set the figure at £7.50.....Last time I underestimated the fee and overestimeted the turnout so we did have a slight shortfall - not a major problem but it was a lesson learned so this time hopefully we will gather more money than we need to pay our main host. If there is any left then I think it should go to our other host and be used to make a donation here on PL. After all without Spec and PL there would be no UKLEM.

How far is the venue from Dover by car ?

If some of the lowland forumers would join me, I might drive over... (if you let us in, that is )

But if it is at the top of the UK, it might be a bit too far

Leicester is in the Midlands so its not at the top google maps reckons on 188mils from dover and 3 hrs 20 mins or thereabouts.

Do bring some buddies - oh and lasers....we want lasers

If no candidats to share the car, I will check Ryanair or so ...

On the map it is between Coventry and Nottingham

Edit : Darn prices by SN Airlines and BMI are all around 800 euro (East Midlands) !! Ryanair does not go near there
So if I go by car and even sleep over it is much cheaper
