I would be also very interested in what the show looks like on 9(crazy!) projectors...

I have the version I dubbed the music onto properly its 640x480 and 340mb
Maybe that would be better as the sound is spot on

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Laserists do it by the nanometre.

were going for more than 9 projectors next time
Eat Sleep Lase Repeat
Why is it in the "Category: Pets & Animals" lol
but FANTASTIC VIDEO!!!
I think we'll have you beat this time!
Let's count full color Pangolin rigs:
Mecheng3 has 2
Buffo has 1
Allthat has 1
DZ has 1
LJK has 1
DJ Matt has 2
Daedal has 1
Stuka has 1
Mophead has 1
300Evil has 1
DocJohn has 1
Whitcher 88 has 1
Gottaluvlasers has 1
So that's 15 right there, and they're all running Pangolin. But we're not done yet, because I'm *pretty* sure that...
James Lehman has 1
Carmangary has 1
Laserjock has 1
RGB-Gas has 1
Dr Lava has 1
So that's 20 projectors, all full color.
And though I'm not sure they'll be bringing them, I think:
WolfBlue has 1
Imagelight has 2
Plus a couple people have talked about bringing green-only projectors, or RGY projectors. So potentially we're looking at a *LOT* of projectors. For sure we'll easily surpass 9 synchronized RGB projectors though.
My guess is that we'll probably max out at around 12 to 14 synchronized RGB rigs, because that's going to be close to the limit for QM-2000 boards. (It's very easy to link up a bunch of QM-2000 boards via the .net software, but I don't think it's possible to link QM-2000's with FB3's, and some of the Pangolin RGB projectors will be running on FB3's...)
Though if we simply used a splitter cable, we could link every projector in the house together no matter what controller they were using... That would make - what, 20 projectors at least? Something like that anyway...
That's a worthy goal for SELEM 2010 I think. Build a buffered splitter box so that a single controller can run say, 6 projectors. Then build a pair of these boxes and you're all set!
Bottom line, SELEM 2009 is going to be one hell of a show, no matter how many projectors we manage to link up!
