Rumors of the early demise of my back are highly exaggerated. I will admit that I thought I had done something galactically stupid when I lifted that Lexel 95 power supply up to the loading dock though. The ensuing muscle spasm took me quite by surprise. But it got better, and I don't seem to have any lasting problems from it, so it's all good.
More troubling is the sleep deprivation, which I am determined to solve for SELEM 2010. I don't function well when I haven't slept. I think I'm going to need to stretch things out more so I have time to sleep.
The cool toys, cool people, and great food made it all worthwhile though. I have to say I'd do it all over again in a second. (Well, except for the lexel 95 power supply maybe!)
I agree that we need more time - not just for shows but for everything. We'll have to think about how to do that for next year... (Actually, we might be able to do it sooner than that, since the auditorium will be more available after Jan 1st...) Hmmmm.
