Rumors of the early demise of my back are highly exaggerated. I will admit that I thought I had done something galactically stupid when I lifted that Lexel 95 power supply up to the loading dock though. The ensuing muscle spasm took me quite by surprise. But it got better, and I don't seem to have any lasting problems from it, so it's all good.

More troubling is the sleep deprivation, which I am determined to solve for SELEM 2010. I don't function well when I haven't slept. I think I'm going to need to stretch things out more so I have time to sleep.

The cool toys, cool people, and great food made it all worthwhile though. I have to say I'd do it all over again in a second. (Well, except for the lexel 95 power supply maybe!)

I agree that we need more time - not just for shows but for everything. We'll have to think about how to do that for next year... (Actually, we might be able to do it sooner than that, since the auditorium will be more available after Jan 1st...) Hmmmm.

What about a small LEM after the holidays......maybe a schedule to assemble some new shows and projector setup tactics? It is quite possible for me to get a lot of work done on some projects and get things snuffed up for a new show set up. I have a few repair units to get out after testing...Allthat you are on the top of the list. I have a red to build and a couple of other things hanging on parts to arrive...a couple waiting on decisions. After that I would be game....provided I don't have everything torn apart. I would like to create a nice high power RGB. Something in the area of 3 watts...if possible. Doesn't look good from here right now though. I think that would be a respectable unit.
Mo, Adam , Let me know about what you want to do....so I can put that into the stew.

I am willing to start a collection for the tools that Steve had "lost" while doing repairs. Let me know if you would like to donate to a very worthy cause.

Cool - thanks for posting the photos!

It was cool meeting your Dad -

Maybe the next LEM should be a full-family event, perhaps?

by far, the best pics of dz ever posted-

small outdoor events, such as the selem proposal usually utilize a 15-20 w mixed gas and a argon in the 25 watt range-

Here is the single picture I took with my cellphone camera:

(I left the photography to 300Evil -except for this one picture)

I've been procrastinating posting a more detailed sum-up of SELEM. I will soon.
