Still here - just not a often as I would like!
Been traveling quite a bit for Uncle Sam lately, and living the split-existence between Knoxville & Huntsville.
Just got back from a fact-finding trip to Fairbanks, Alaska.
Unfortunately, not only was it a off-viewing time for the Northern Lights, but the only laser I could find was the green pointer in my pocket!!
Cold, too.....

You should have tried a bit of prospecting while there...any where near the Steese Hwy? Lots of gold there for sure....that will in turn fund laser projects.

In Alaska, they warn you to always keep your ID on your person so you can look up your gender in case you forget!Also jokingly referred to as one of the places where it gets so cold that mercury freezes.
(No, not really, but still!)
