...and why isn't there a lasorb-wiki in the first place![]()
I think all information is already in the datatsheets. That is why they exists.
But at the moment I'm planning a group buy for LASORB.
I think after all the group buys for the laser diodes itself there should be some interest.
The group buy will also be for USA and other countries because shipping is quite cheap (envloppe).
So expect a new topic soon with all the needed information about LASORB and the group buy itself...![]()

Rather than thinking it is already in the data sheets...
it would still be a great idea to post the pinout/hookup right here like "buffo" stated... IMO
Unless of course.. it is an industrial secret ...
The more places it is posted... the easier it is to find...

Jerry, I will post all the information as soon as possible. In a day or two the group buy will start.
But Andy was right, the andode (pin2) needs to be connected to the positive leg of the laser diode.

Hi All,
All of the most recent LASORB we have shipped have a letter "A" on the package. That is next to the pin for the Laser Diode "Anode". You connect the other pin to the Cathode.
Although we don't have a connection diagram on the web site or datashee (I guess we should) we do give it a verbal description as above. Also, we do show a connection diagram on the video that you can see here:
