GPL's apply to software.
If you're talking about photos / video then you're talking Copyright & Royalty Free and they're never copyright & royalty free unless sold to a stock photo warehouse and then licensed from there as royalty free or expressley loaded onto a web site by the copyright owner who states they can then be used for commercial purposes freely (note this is commercial usage) or where you have obtained the express permission of the owner of the copyright material in writing for your specific commercial purpose.
I kind of get the feeling that if these aren't yours, by GPL you mean you've done a Google Image search and pulled these down.
Guess what? Images searched and pulled from the internet are still covered by Copyright unless the owner has done any of the things I mentioned above to waive his right to Copyright for your usage. The fact they are on the internet doesn't make them Copyright free.
Interesting enough though, you actually appear to be DJ'ing in some of the videos with audience scanning that aren't yours.
As for the laserscope, I guess there's no hope for you. I kind of hope in a way you do do a show with the Laserscope, against everyone's advice and have something go wrong and blind people because at least that way you will face prison and be taken out of society for a long time thus protecting people's retinas in the long run.
As many others have said in this thread (albeit not always nicely although with provocation, granted) you simply don't want to listen to advice.
You talk about why should you listen to people on here as they're not the big laser show boys like one company you mention, well let me tell you something now about some shows some of the people on here have worked for:
1. Trance Energy - how does 30,000 people indoors sound - the worlds largest indoor event: http://www.last.fm/event/818723+Trance+Energy+2009
2. Global Gathering - up to 250,000 people
3. Awakenings - 20,000 people indoors
4. Dance Valley - 53,000 people:
These are just some of the events that people on here are involved with (all images are stock images off Google and thus copyright to the image owners).
They're too modest to shout about them so I'm doing it for them.
However, I guess 1/4 million people at Global Gathering is small feed compared to your DJ parties though as can be clearly seen from your pictures.
Clearly you know more than anyone on here so their advice isn't worth anything compared to your knowledge.
