Ohmyballs... okay i really need to thank all you guys for helping out getting my argon fired up... pretty much everyone got their hands dirty with it but I'm terribly shit with names (and remembering things) so here goes:
Rob - Holy hell that was one hell of a show you got out of it!
Nige - Thanks for letting me use your meter, that got the AOM working tops
Simon - Way to walk those mirrors in,
Rob2 - It wouldn't have worked without your excellent volts, and ps... post up the pics of my dodgy 3-phase and i'll get worried
Dimitri - AHH bollocks to DHL... see you guys in october!
Jim - The venue rocked, and so did all the crap and tools i borrowed off you
Tony, man, what the hell have I done?

And seriously, everyone that was there really did help me out in some way, thanks so much and I can't wait to see you all again in Feb!

Looks and sounds like you guys had a great time. The pics make me think I really I need to look seriously at a trip across the pond for one of these some day. Is the February one usually as well attended? Maybe my two yearly weekends would be North Carolina in August and the UK in Feb!

    Default Fantastic weekend...

3 high power outdoor lasers, 2 resident DJ's, our own top quality photographer, a room full of top people and amazing coherent beam boxes everywhere, now that's a recipe for a perfect weekend and that's exactly what UKLEM 11 was all about…

Great to see all the old faces and so many new people too. It's absolutely mind blowing to think of the huge array of kit on show, more and more huge gas lasers with their perfect beams and solid state kit getting smaller and more powerful every year. We even had a daytime air display, followed by entertaining the neighbourhood with a night time laser show…

I woke up in the hotel Saturday morning with a stinking cold, then I had dichro issues and then my Kvant blue died. Thanks to everyone who mucked in and helped me get it sorted and sorry if I was a miserable git I have an important gig next week and the last thing I needed was a major failure, lucky it happened when I was surrounded by so many of the good guys…

Funniest moment had to be outside talking to Jem. We were taking about lumia effects (Thanks for the great info Jem) when these two ladies came over with their dogs. They were asking if we would be doing another show and general questions about lasers. Then one turned to the other and said, "we better go, you're waving a bag of shit at them"…

Anyhow, great weekend, great people, big thanks to all of you

    Cheers
    Mark

    Default Weekend.

    Hi Guys

Well that was my second LEM, and it was great. I really enjoyed.

Its was good to have a working laser with me and Quickshow which most of you advised me to buy on my first meet.

Unfortunately my RGB was not in full working order, new scanners ordered and hopefully it will be in a better state next (any ideas on the next one, sooner rather than later).

Thanks go to Jim again, its an ideal venue, your work is appreciated.

Rob thanks for the the time you put in trying to get my scanners working correctly.

Nice pics Andy, keep them coming.

Ryan, you need help pal. Thanks

    Graham, thanks for the tunes,

    Lots more lasers please.

Generally thanks to all at the meet as you all make them what they are.

Jem, great news regarding you daughter.

UKLEM - what can ya say.
Surfleet is the best always has been always will be.
Bob on Jim for all the effort despite you not being an official laserist anymore - You make the meets in so many ways.
My highlight was the fact that Jem made it after all hes been through - great to see you.
I echo what Tony said - everyone has their part in the LEM and we make it what they are - we are so lucky to have such a top bunch of guys.
    Long may they continue!

    Rob
If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

I will whole heartedly echo what Rob has said about Jem returning to the LEM and it being my weekend highlight also! - To see a silver Landrover pounding towards me while I was driving in my car (when I nipped out to take my little ones pushchair back to my mum's who was looking after him) down that right hand back lane adjacent to the LEM venue field, and noticing upon it getting closer to me that the number plate was Jem's, really did bring a lump to my throat.
    Your a great chap Jem!
PS - Thanks for the Olives Jem and also, I have a bottle of Extra virgin Olive oil here that belongs to you too - I will look after it and let you have it back at the next LEM
    Thanks mate

And you too Rob, your not getting away without a good praise beating

    Knackered.

What an awsome weekend - you're all a wonderful group of people and it was wicked to see all the kit on show and the massive amount of enthusiasim! (Ryan)
Mr Stanwax, thanks for the NEOS - the banter the chats and the beers.
Mr Yag, Thanks for the cables, the distro - guys at your work must wonder!
Mr Con, THE PHOTOS ARE AMAZING!!!!!!
    Mr Briggs, Pogtastic!
Mr Robotarmy, please please please do a back to back AL60.. I wanna see that at the next meet.
Mr Dimmers, what can I say.. thanks for hauling my table - you are a dimond geezer, innit.
Mr Kevski, thanks for disconnecting the PCAOM on teardown
Mr Skulptue, thanks for the tunes - awsome toe tapping head nodding screwface tunes, you always have me on the edge of getting up and having a boogie. (missed the D&B, Jungle, and dubstep, I'll have to punt you across some tunes for next time )
Mr Jem, I was releived to hear Steph was ok, I heard the news just before I left work on Friday and I spent the drive thinking of you all. Was brilliant to see you back on Sat - it wouldn't be the same without your good fine self there!

Apologies to anyone I missed, I'm a tad tired and there are so many great people it's difficult to name you all.

The CuBr, the Scopes.. my god.. I'm buying me one of them babies. (The 8w 532 DPSS module wasn't bad either)

I wish every weekend was a LEM weekend.

Special thanks to Jim for the organisation and venue and sparks.

    Till next time!

    Nige.
